
On March 6, 2009, after a week long trial, a Geneva County Jury convicted Glen Dewayne Lee, 47, and Theresa Ann Wilkerson, 48, of Samson, Alabama of murder.
Glen Lee, who shot and killed Tim Wilkerson on April 29, 2007 was charged with murder and Theresa Ann Wilkerson was charged as an accomplice for aiding and abetting Glen
Lee in the murder. Glen Lee claimed self defense during the trial and Theresa Ann Wilkerson defended by saying she had no knowledge that Glen Lee was going to shoot Tim Wilkerson.
The victim in the case was the ex-husband of Defendant, Theresa Ann Wilkerson. The Defendants were remanded to the custody of the Sheriff pending a sentencing hearing. The sentencing hearing was held on May 7, 2009 before Presiding Circuit Judge P.B. McLaughlin, Jr.
District Attorney Kirke Adams presented two witnesses, Ray Wilkerson, the brother of the victim and Ginger Rodriquez, daughter of victim, during the sentencing hearing. The Defendants provided no witnesses in their behalf. After testimony, Judge McLaughlin sentenced each Defendant to life in prison.
